Legislation may need to be changed in some jurisdictions in order to have the SPT implemented and politicians may need to be convinced that the public wants the service. This form has been specifically designed for presentation to the South Australian Parliament. The use of this petition form will maintain consistency as it has already been used to collect thousands of signatures. The term “fixed odds” betting has been used in this form because it is a well-recognised term locally.
